Who we are
Brazil Tax Brief is an English-language editorial publication produced by Scholante Advocacia e Consultoria, a Brazilian tax and customs practice. References to "we", "us" or "Brazil Tax Brief" in this policy refer to Scholante.

What data we collect and why
Newsletter subscription. When you subscribe to the Brazil Tax Brief newsletter, we collect your email address and a timestamp of your subscription. We use this data solely to send you the newsletter you requested. The legal basis for this processing is your explicit, freely given consent (LGPD Art. 7, VI; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information or any other personal data through the newsletter form.
How we store and protect your data
Email addresses are stored by MailerLite, our email service provider. MailerLite is GDPR-compliant and operates under standard contractual clauses for international data transfers. You can review MailerLite's privacy policy at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How to unsubscribe
Every newsletter email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us at privacy@scholante.com.br to request removal at any time, and we will action it within 5 business days.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@scholante.com.br.
Cookies and analytics
